Our installation
The base is everything. We excavate, lay and compact a free-draining aggregate sub-base, add a weed membrane, then fit the grass with tight, invisible joins and secured edges, brushing in a kiln-dried infill for a natural, upright pile. Done properly, it stays flat, drains well and looks immaculate for a decade or more.
